You think anything bush says is the gospel and any criticism is the work of the lying liberals.

You're pro-life, pro-death penalty, and pro-war, as long as it
doesn't effect you personally.

You actually believe ANYTHING Rummy says........

You think being born in Connecticut and moving to Texas makes you a
Texan.

You have no problem with our bombs finding Afghanistan or Iraq
even though most of our citizens can't find either country on the map.

You think it is unpatriotic and un-American to raise legitimate questions about Bush's foreign policy and Iraq strategy while we have young men and women in harm's way in Iraq, yet that same concern for patriotism was curiously absent when you blasted Bill Clinton WHILE WE HAD YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN IN HARM'S WAY IN KOSOVO.

Ann Coulter gives you a "woody".

You believe a billion a week in Iraq is making us safer even though high school kids can still get box cutters onto airplanes.

You think signing 152 death warrants is something Jesus would have
done.

You say we live in a free country but suggest anyone who criticizes
Dubya should find another country to live in.

You can reconcile the fact that Iraqi schools are being rebuilt
while our teachers are spending hundreds of dollars a year, from their own
pockets, on basic school supplies.

Lets do nothing and this will all go away.

I thought we tried that under clintoon for 8 years.

It's easy to criticize bush, however, I've yet to hear the great solution from the left.

They say they would get the UN involved, that's about all. We all know the UN is corupt to the core i.e. the oil for food scam. France, Russia and Germany were all making a nice bundle and would not have supported the US if we were hit with a nuke. The UN is not the answer. Other than saying get the UN involved the left has no solutions just critcizism to add to the equation.

Regime change starts at home

That is the ONLY solution at this point.

I don't believe if (a big if) Kerry wins the election and he was to immediately (which he won't) withdraw all our troops from every location in the world the attacks would stop.

These people are serious about converting the world to islam. What is so hard to understand about that? They mean business and would cut both of your throats in a heart beat.

Besides the fact that you're suffering from severe paranoia - I'm agnostic, so the choice between Muslims ruling the world or Christians ruling the world doesn't mean didly squat to me.

There will ALWAY be terrorism. Occupying Iraq will NOT change that; in fact, it probably just incites more violence and creates more terrorism.

What is so hard to understand about that?

OK, let get this straight your solution is do nothing and hope it's not all that bad.

Sorta like there's always going to be crime so just let them rape or murder who they want. Just save the money on police and courts because they're going to keep on raping and murdering. You see it doesn't work that way.

When the terrorist get their hands on a nuke they will find a way to set it off in a major city. I'm actually surprised they didn't wait and use a nuke on their first attack. That was actually their biggest mistake because now they are on the radar and some do understand what they are capable of doing.

I didn't know you were agnostic, thought you were smarter than that.

I guess your funeral will read: Here lies an agnostic, all dressed up and nowhere to go.

You're right - we don't blow up LA or NYC every time a rape occurs.

Out, if you really stop and think about it you might see that you often disprove your own sheepish theories.

Interesting comment there:

These people are serious about converting the world to islam. What is so hard to understand about that?

Uh, so what would you say to them if they claimed they were fighting us in Iraq because we were there trying to convert them to Christians??? I sure hope we don't change this into a religious war because we all know religious wars have no end and just bring extended misery for no gain. You can't make someone change their religion by pointing a gun at them, so why would you think they were out to turn the West into a fiefdom of Islam?

Do you atheists and agnostics say "Darwin! Oh, Darwin" during sex
applaudit.gif

Just curious!

Seriously, I really do think atheists and agnostics lack total common sense to believe in those theories.

I guess National Atheist's Day is April 1st.

xpanda,

listen to what the say, they are open about their intent.

they are murdering non-believers all over the world. no other religion is doing the same.

there's 20 or so conflicts current in the world and 95% are radical muslims trying to convert their neighbors. do you need your wife in a burka before you wise up or your throat cut.

when they get their hands on a nuke you'll understand how serious they are when they get a nuke some time during the next 10 years, this is going to be a long struggle.

Yes, they are open about their intent and I have read much of it. However, I have not heard them announce that they want to convert the world to Islam, but that they want the calliphate back (still not good, tho) which is a limited percentage of the world. Besides, the US wants to convert the world to democracy ... while I would of course prefer the latter, why is this 'conversion' any less dangerous?

Anyway, if you can supply a source that demonstrates that the terrorists' agenda is to convert the world to Islam, that would be great.

Jihad (holy war) is a command to all Muslims enforced by the Quran. The focus is to overcome people who do not accept Islam. Islam is a religion of works. Dying in jihad is a great honor, and it is the only way a Muslim is assured of entering Paradise at all. This is why you see Muslims leaving their own nations to fight jihad in other countries. "Their motivation is religious, which is much more dangerous than a political motivation," Gabriel says. Jihad is the motivation behind almost every act of terrorism

truthteller....when you say that atheists and agnostics lack total common sense to believe in those theories.....

I would consider myself to be an agnostic....maybe there is a god, maybe there isn't....When you say "common sense", just what "common sense", in the form of proof, exists to say there is a god, and if there is a god, which religion is the correct one to follow? Would appear to be a matter of personal choice, as most if not all religions employ a fat book full of passages, a good place for its followers to go, a bad place for the non-believers to go, and a god that commands that he be the only one to be worshiped.....Who am I or anyone else for that matter to judge someone elses religion as wrong, given the standards that I listed that apply to nearly all religions? I have as much reason to be a Muslim as I do of being a Christian....people within the separate and different factions of Christianity have thier own reasons for choosing thier slant, whether it be Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran or whatever.

Did anyone ever think for one minute that if you had been born and raised around a different religion other that the one you believe in and practice today, that the religion you believe in and practice today you would consider to be vulgar and wrong?

I have as much reason to believe in aliens as I do about God......maybe there is, maybe there isn't. The fact of the matter is we on Earth haven't seen the whole universe, so to say that there definitely is life or definitely is not life out there would be totally presumptuous.

It wouldn't be any different than if you saw a shoe box by the curb outside your house. What's in it? You don't know until you look in it. Could have money in it, could have an old pair of shoes, it could be empty. Only thing you can say is that there probably isn't a yard of concrete in there because a yard of concrete wouldn't fit inside a shoe box, not even a box that could hold Shaq's....

Again, find me a link that says they want to convert the world to Islam. This definition still suits the theory of reclaiming the Calliphate. The US is not part of that region. Your country was attacked because of their reaction to your presence in the MidEast, not because you're not a nation of Muslims.

xpanda,

I don't know if you want a link where a cleric says that if the U.S. and others leave the Middle East, all will be forgiven but I can point you to some passages in the Qu'ran

other

Look at passages 5 and 29 in the first link and in the second, passages 38 and 39.
